
A delegation of the Azerbaijani parliament, Milli Majlis led by Speaker Ogtay Asadov will visit Budapest, Hungary on Dec. 7. According to press secretary of the parliament, Akif Nasirov, the delegation includes chairwoman of the committee on human rights, Rabiyyat Aslanova, MPs Khanhuseyn Kazimli, Javanshir Feyziyev and head of the parliament`s administration, Safa Mirzayev.
Members of the Azerbaijani delegation will visit the Hungarian National Assembly to meet Speaker László Kövér and head of the Hungary-Azerbaijan friendship group, Márton Gyöngyösi. The discussions will focus on prospects for development of relations between the two countries` legislative bodies.
Asadov is also expected to meet Hungarian President Pal Schmitt, Economy Ministry state secretary Roza Nagy and other top officials of the country`s Cabinet of Ministers.Members of the delegation will also visit the Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary and inquire about the activity of the country`s Diaspora organizations.
