Info about Azeri minister`s planned visit to Iran “untrue”

Azerbaijan`s military attaché in Iran has commented on recent media rumors that the country`s defense minister was scheduled to pay a visit to Tehran, calling the information untrue. In a brief interview with AzerTAc`s Tehran-based correspondent, military attaché Mehman Suleymanov said the rumors were spread by the Iranian media.

“However, the information has not been confirmed by either Azerbaijani or Iranian officials.”
Suleymanov added: “If the defense minister plans to visit Iran, the information will be made public.”
