Azeri ambassador meets Jordanian Minister of Higher Education

Azerbaijan ambassador to Jordan Elman Arasli met with this country`s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Rowayda Almaaytah on Monday. Elman Arasli said that Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Education is going to open an exhibition of Azerbaijani higher schools in Amman in April and May in 2012. The Jordanian Minister noted that relevant assistance would be provided for the excellent organization of the exhibition.

She also said that Secretary General of Jordan Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mustafa Al Adwan will attend the meeting of the Executive Committee of the OIC Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) to be held on November 23-26 in Baku.

Mustafa Al Adwan is expected to hold meetings at the Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Education, National Academy of Sciences and Diplomatic Academy.

The sides discuss the ways of boosting relations between the Baku State University (BSU) and the University of Jordan. Rowayda Almaaytah underlined that the Jordanian side has prepared the draft memorandum of understanding between the universities.
