Pakistani newspaper features Baku International Humanitarian Forum

An English-language Pakistani newspaper “Pakistan Observer” has published an article on Baku International Humanitarian Forum titled “Nagorno-Karabakh refugees seek world support”.

The article says well-known politicians, intellectuals, Nobel laureates, scientists and journalists from all over the world attended the Forum.

“Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan opening the Forum said dialogue, tolerance, peace and development must be promoted in the world and his country will support all international moves in this direction”, the article says. The writing also says that the Azerbaijani President noted Nagorno-Karabkah conflict “is humanitarian crisis for Azerbaijan and one million refugees and IDPs are waiting high time to return their native lands”.

The article also gives information on Baku Declaration adopted on the conclusion of the conference which calls for tolerance, protection of human rights. The author especially noted that Azerbaijan “is rapidly developing”. “There is a lot of goodwill for Pakistan in this country as Pakistan was always in the forefront to support the position taken by Baku on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh against Armenia”, the article says.
