Turkish Prime Minster to visit Azerbaijan at the end of July

Turkish Prime Minster Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Azerbaijan at the end of July. The signing of Azerbaijan-Turkey agreement on transit of the natural gas is expected during the visit.

The holding of the 1st meeting of Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council is planned in Baku. The issue on abolition of visa regime will be discussed.

In his interview before the parliamentary elections held on June 12, Erdogan said that, as a tradition, he would pay his first foreign visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan.
