Azerbaijan makes note of protest to EU and Poland

In connection with the European Parliament keynote speaker on Armenia Tomasz Poreba's illegal visit to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, the Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia and Polish ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhal Labenda were invited to the Foreign Ministry and presented note of protest of the Azerbaijani side on this issue, Foreign Ministry's press service said.

The mentioned two were informed that the happened incident caused serious protest of Azerbaijani side and foreign citizens paying illegal visits to the Azerbaijani occupied lands show disrespect to sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and they will be entered into the list of persona non grata in Azerbaijan.

It has been asked to take appropriate measures against such instigator steps directed to strain the current situation in the region by EU institutes, at the same time, by Polish Government.
