Azerbaijani ambassador to Jordan meets Palestine's first envoy in Baku

Arasli wished successes to Palestine's first ambassador to Azerbaijan.

He said Azerbaijan supports Palestine's position within international organizations and establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Abdulkarim, in turn, highly appreciated Azerbaijan's support for the Palestinian people.

He said his country supports Azerbaijan's stance on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict. He also noted the UN Security Council's resolutions on the problem must be fulfilled.

They also discussed the situation in the Middle East region, resuming the direct talks between Israel and Palestine and other issues of mutual interest.
