President Ilham Aliyev receives incoming UN resident-coordinator in Azerbaijan

The Head of State congratulated Akcura on his appointment as the UN resident-coordinator in Azerbaijan and wished him every success. Saying Azerbaijan-UN relations are developing rapidly, President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the cooperation would continue to expand.

Akcura said he is honored to serve as UN resident-coordinator in Azerbaijan. He assured the Head of State that he would spare no efforts to expand UN-Azerbaijan cooperation. Akcura presented UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's letter to President Ilham Aliyev.
