Iran’s first VP congratulates Azerbaijan on Republic Day

Iran’s First Vice President Es’haq Jahangiri has congratulated the neighboring Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of its Republic Day.

In a letter to Azerbaijan’s Vice President and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, Jahangiri felicitated his counterpart as well as Azerbaijan’s government and people on the national occasion, the Iranian government’s website reported May 28.

He hoped that the strong determination of the leaders of both countries bring about to more and more robust mutual ties.
