Given the experience of Azerbaijan in this field, he has invited Azerbaijan to take part at the High-Level Meeting on Sustainable Transport of Landlocked Developing Countries to be held in Bolivia in cooperation with the relevant structures of UN on October 13-14, 2016.

FM Mammadyarov reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s readiness to share its relevant experience, especially on public administration, single window in customs and tax system, socio-economic reforms, with other LLDCs through the United Nations. He added that Azerbaijan’s election to the membership of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for the period of 2017-2019 with majority votes indicates the international reputation of the country and appreciation of international community for the achievements of Azerbaijan in social-economic sphere especially in last decade.

Minister Mammadyarov speaking about the aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan and barbaric actions perpetrated in the occupied lands, especially destruction of the transport infrastructure noted that destructive and annexationist policy pursued by Armenia seriously hampers full-fledged development of regional cooperation and connectivity and implementation of sustainable development agenda in the region.
