Chairman of Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan meets IOM`s Regional Director for South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov has met Regional Director for South-Eastern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of International Organization for Migration Argentina Szabados.

The Chairman stressed the importance of the event held in Nakhchivan dedicated to the international day against human trafficking.

Vasif Talibov spoke about the progress achieved in Autonomous Republic in improvement of the role of women in the society.

Argentina Szabados, in turn stressed the importance of development of relations between Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and IOM.

Mission Director for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Azerbaijan Michaela Meredis, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Baku Dragana Filipovic were also present in the meeting.
