Azerbaijani FM receives Turkey’s ambassador

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Turkey’s Ambassador to Baku Ismail Alper Coskun June 30, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Trend.

It was noted during the meeting that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all spheres is flourishing on the basis of principles of brotherhood and strategic partnership.

Mammadyarov said he sent a letter of condolence in connection with the terrorist attack committed on June 28 at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport to his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Furthermore, the sides exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral relations’ development and on the issues of regional and international agenda.
