Milli Majlis chairman meets OSCE PA Special Representative

Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov has met with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly`s Special Representative on the South Caucasus Kristian Vigenin.

Mr. Asadov expressed confidence that the Special Representative`s meetings during the visit would make contribution to development of relations between Azerbaijan and the OSCE PA.

Touching upon the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Milli Majlis chairman said that the conflict was a threat to whole region. He also spoke of the latest provocations committed by the Armenian units against Azerbaijani civilians.

Mr. Asadov has provided an insight into the recent meeting of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Vienna.

Kristian Vigenin congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of national holiday – Republic Day. He underlined that Azerbaijan has achieved huge successes in the years of independence, and stressed the importance of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Head of the parliament`s administration Safa Mirzayev and other officials attended the meeting.
