Armenians violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 116 times throughout the day

The situation on the contact line between Azerbaijan and Armenia has remained tense as the Armenian Armed Forces shattered ceasefire a total of 116 times throughout the day, Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry said.

The Armenian armed forces subjected to fire the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces located in Berkaber, Paravakar villages and nameless hill of Icevan region, Gizilhajili village in Gazakh region, Kohnagishlag village of Agstafa region, Mosesgekh, Chinari villages of Berd region, Agdam, Alibayli, Kokhanebi, Agbulag villages of Tovuz region and nameless hills in Krasnoselsk and Gadabay regions.

The ceasefire was also violated in Talish, Gulustan villages in Goranboy region, Chilaburt, Yarimja, Goyarkh villages in Tartar region, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Namirli, Shikhlar, Yusifjanli villages in Aghdam region, Kuropatkino village in Khojavand region, Horadiz, Gorgan, Garakhanbayli, Ashagi Seyidahmadli villages in Fuzuli region, Mehdili village in Jabrayil region, as well as nameless hills in Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil regions.

In view of the operational situation, the Azerbaijani armed forces carried out 120 strikes on enemy positions, the Ministry said.
