Azerbaijani, Turkish armed forces hold joint tactical drills

Azerbaijan and Turkey started holding joint military and tactical drills, the defense ministry of Azerbaijan said May 12.

In accordance with the agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the types of the armed forces of the two countries started joint tactical drills in Baku and Nakhchivan on May 12.

The drills in Nakhchivan will be held under the general control and supervision of minister of defense of Azerbaijan, colonel-general Zakir Hasanov and commander of the third army and the Turkish armed forces, army general Umut Dundar.
