Turkey has officially renounced the baseless allegations of the puppet rulers in Nagorno-Karabakh in view of Turkish soldiers' partaking in Azerbaijan's military operations.

Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ismayil Alper Coskun said that reports claiming that Turkish servicemen engaged in armed operations along the line of contact between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops contradict the reality.

"Armenian media and Nagorno-Karabakh's separatist rulers lie when they talk about joint military operations of Azerbaijani and Turkish soldiers on the frontline," the ambassador said.

Coskun turned down all reports as baseless, saying "Armenia tries to distract the public from the real issues at hand by spreading such news."

The so-called defense minister of the separatist regime in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, Movses Akopyan said in his recent address that the Azerbaijani army sought help from Turkey for its operations on the frontline.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry assessed Akopyan's address as a populist speech aimed at concealing Armenian troops' difficulties - Armenia has suffered huge manpower and material losses following each skirmish on the contact line.

The ministry said only Azerbaijani soldiers equipped with the most modern weapons and military equipment fight against the Armenian forces.

Turning to periodical misinformation vis a vis Azerbaijan, Armenia is playing a destructive role when it could help foster peace and stability in the region by contributing to the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, especially since the UNSC resolutions already called on Armenia to withdraw back into its borders and free Azerbaijan's occupied territories.

Resorting to armed incursions rather than intensifying efforts towards reaching a peaceful resolution to the conflict only proves Armenia's reluctance to promoting stability in the region.

Regular ceasefire violations triggered by the Armenian forces have generated much instability, complicating any hope for a fast and peaceful resolution of the conflict.

Azerbaijan's internationally recognized Nagorno-Karabakh territory has become a conflict zone following Armenia's aggression in the early 1990s. As a result of Armenia's armed invasion, 20 percent of Azerbaijan's territory fell under Armenia's occupation. Nevertheless, the OSCE has attempted to foster a peaceful resolution to this conflict amid Armenia's persistent derailment.
