Liberation of occupied territories, Azerbaijan’s priority for 2015

The main aim of Azerbaijan in 2015 is to fulfill its commitment to liberate the country’s occupied territories with more fighting capacity of the armed forces.

Zakir Hasanov, Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister made the remark at a meeting of the leadership of military medical services held at the Central Clinical Hospital of the armed forces on December 17.

Hasanov said the officers of medical service are tasked precisely in this direction. He also emphasized the contribution of the leadership of each military-medical establishments in enhancing the combat capability of the army units, Defense Ministry said.

Natig Aliyev, Head of the Ministry’s Health Department, noted the importance of the measures implemented by the government and the army over the past year to improve the capabilities of the military personnel and the level of social and living conditions, equipping the military medical facilities with modern technologies, improving the examination and treatment procedures, protecting the health of military personnel and their families and offering health services in accordance with modern standards.

The defense minister also answered questions on topical areas of military medicine at the meeting.

Then, the defense minister held talks with the military medical staff of faculty of Azerbaijan Medical University and gave instructions and recommendations to them.
