President Aliyev receives Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev received President of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein on December 12, AzerTag state news agency reported.

Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein conveyed greetings on behalf of King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II and Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the head of state.

The parties stressed the importance of holding an annual meeting of the FEI General Assembly in Baku. The Azerbaijani government’s attention to the development of sports in the county, including equestrian was praised.

The sides noted the significance of work to establish a modern sports infrastructure in Azerbaijan.

They hailed the holding of the First European Games in Azerbaijan thanks to the country`s contribution to the expansion of international cooperation in the field of sports.

President Aliyev thanked for the greetings of to King Abdullah II and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and asked Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein to communicate his greetings to them.
