The Azerbaijani Trend Agency and the Belarusian Telegraph Agency have jointly created the countries’ sections on Azerbaijan and Belarus.

The sides created the countries’ special sections at their official websites: Trend - on Belarus, BelTA - on Azerbaijan.

The agencies regularly exchange timely information, analytical articles, as well as photos on the latest events in domestic and international life of their countries to effectively develop the sections.

Two agencies have also agreed to intensify the information partnership as part of dynamically developing Azerbaijan-Belarus relations to broadly inform about the countries’ achievements in the international information sphere.

Trend and BelTA are developing the partnership for the exchange of information and multimedia content in accordance with the agreement, reached during the fourth Baku International Humanitarian Forum.

Trend and BelTA have been cooperating since 2010 on the basis of the bilateral agreement.

Founded in 1995 as a private media outlet in Azerbaijan, Trend Agency is a leading news provider in the South Caucasus, Caspian and Central Asian region. Trend has English, Russian, Azerbaijani, Farsi, and Arabic news services, covering virtually the entire global audience. The services are focused on regional news, particularly from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Trend’s main office is located in Baku - Azerbaijan's capital.

The Belarusian Telegraph Agency has been retaining the official status of the state news agency of the country for more than 90 years. It remains the most authoritative source of timely information on the activity of the supreme authorities of Belarus. BelTA publishes news in Russian, Belarusian, English, German and Spanish.
