President Ilham Aliyev's Beylagan visit - PHOTOS

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Birinci Shahseven-Ahmadli-Dunyamalilar road in Beylagan.

The road was constructed under the Order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated 12 September 2013. AZN 2 million was initially allocated from the President's 2013 Contingency Fund to the Beylagan District Executive Authority for the construction of the facility. The road, which links eight residential areas with a total population of 25,000 people, is more than 39 km in length. The construction of a 20km section of the road has already been completed.

The Birinci Shahseven-Ahmadli-Dunyamalilar road meets modern standards. High-quality construction work was carried out in a short period of time. It saw the construction of 67 aqueducts and installation of different traffic signs along the road.

This fourth technical degree road provides residents of adjacent villages with easy access to the district center and country roads.

The construction of the Birinci Shahseven-Ahmadli-Dunyamalilar road is another testament to the fact that social issues are coped with and road infrastructure is rapidly modernized in Beylagan. This also proves that the government`s consistent policy covers the entire country.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the Central City Stadium in Beylagan after major repair and reconstruction.

The construction of the stadium started in January 2014. The high-quality construction work was carried out using internal resources. The 3,000-seat stadium has locker rooms, a press hall, coaching and medical rooms. There is also a rubber-coated running track with six lanes, 11 fitness facilities, basketball, volleyball and mini-football courts. The opening of the Central City Stadium in Beylagan will increase local youngsters` interest in football.

The construction of the modern Olympic complexes and other sports facilities in Baku and the regions paves the way for holding international competitions all over the country. The construction of modern sports facilities in the country is of great importance from the point of view of ensuring young sportsmen's success and healthy upbringing.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a kindergarten the construction of which was initiated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Beylagan.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the kindergarten. It was noted that the construction of the 80-seat building started in January and was completed in July 2014.

A photo stand reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s attention to children is installed in the lobby of the building. The classrooms of the kindergarten, which were built at a modern level and with high quality, are fitted with all necessary equipment, including teaching aids and toys. All conditions have been created here in order to develop the knowledge and abilities of the children.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a chess school in Beylagan. The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the school. It was said that the construction of the facility started in May 2013 and was completed this February. The construction work was carried out using internal resources. 

There are photos in the two-storey school reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s meetings with sportsmen, including chess players. 

A 50-seat tournament room is fitted with the necessary equipment. The school has a comfortable conference hall, classrooms and teachers rooms.

The school`s unique design inspires its students. Teaching aids and information and communication technologies are widely used in the school to comprehensively teach chess to teenagers and youngsters.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the building.

It was said that the construction of the center started in May 2013. High quality construction work was carried out at the two-storey building to create all conditions for youth. Photos reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s visits to Beylagan were installed in the lobby of the center. There is also a photo stand highlighting President Ilham Aliyev`s visits and meetings with youth in the district.

The center houses a youth cafe, a shooting gallery, a karaoke club, and 3D cinemas. A 120-seat hall and a 14-seat auditorium are well suited for conferences and meetings. The center also has an electronic library, a reading room, a languages room, an Internet cafe, gymnastics and dance rooms.

President Ilham Aliyev had a meeting with youth and representatives of local public at the center.

Teacher Ayten Mirzayeva and school principal Aziz Akbarov thanked the head of state for his attention to youth.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Beylagan District on a visit.

The head of state laid flowers at a statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Heydar Aliyev Park.

Head of Beylagan District Executive Authority Vagif Abdullayev informed President Ilham Aliyev about the landscaping and construction work carried out around the statue. It was said that all conditions were created for local residents and guests in the revamped Heydar Aliyev Park.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the facility.

Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov informed President Ilham Aliyev about the technical parameters of the road. It was said that the second technical degree road is 72 km in length and 15 meters in width. Eight new bridges were constructed, 170 water pipes laid and other infrastructure work carried out during the construction work. This paved the way for more comfortable and safe movement of people from adjacent districts, including suburban areas.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of a bridge over the Kur River on the Hajigabul-Bahramtapa highway in the city of Shirvan.

The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the facility.

Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov told President Ilham Aliyev that the bridge is 317 metres in length and nearly 15 metres in width. The outdated metal bridge was creating serious traffic problems. Although it had been repaired several times, the replacement of the bridge with a new one was urgently needed. The construction of the state-of-the-art facility started in 2011 and it is now ready for operation.

It was said that construction and installation work was carried out on the old bridge to ensure continuous and safe traffic flow.
