171 unfit conscripts released from army in Azerbaijan

37 conscripts were diagnosed with tuberculosis, 62 with neurotic reaction and 72 with other diseases

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. 171 conscripts, who were drafted from April 1 till 30, were demobilized due to diseases, Defense Ministry’s press service told APA.

They were re-examined at medical facilities of the Armed Forces.

157 conscripts, re-examined at medical facilities of the Armed Forces from January 1 to 31, were demobilized due to diseases.

According to the order signed by Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov in early January, the health status of young people enlisted at the Defense Ministry’s military units are re-examined by medical commissions established at the units of the Armed Forces, collection points of Army Special Forces and Baku garrison.
