President Ilham Aliyev meets Prince Albert II of Monaco - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today met Prince Albert II of Monaco.

The Prince of Monaco said it was his first visit to Azerbaijan. He recalled his meetings with the Azerbaijani President.

Prince Albert II stressed the importance of the fact that Azerbaijan would host the inaugural European Games in 2015, expressing confidence the tournament would be successfully organized.

President Ilham Aliyev said the visit of the Prince of Monaco was a good opportunity for him to familiarize himself with Azerbaijan.

On the 2015 European Games, the President said that although little time was left to the Games the preparations were going on successfully.

They discussed ways of developing the relations between Azerbaijan and Monaco.
