Azerbaijani Defense Minister holds several meetings in France

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov has held a number of meetings in France.
He met his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian, who expressed France`s interest in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan.

Hasanov noted the role of the presidents in developing relations between the two countries.
The Azerbaijani Minister said he held some fruitful meetings with chairman of the General Directorate for Armament at the French Ministry of Defense as well as heads of military industrial companies as part of his visit.

He expressed hope his visit would contribute to deepening defense cooperation between Azerbaijan and France.

The two ministers signed a document on technical agreement.

Minister Hasanov also met French Chief of the Defence Staff, Admiral Edouard Guillaud to discuss issues of mutual concern.

Hasanov also visited Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Paris.
