Azerbaijan, France to ink accord on defense cooperation

Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov paid an official visit to France. The defense ministries of the two countries are expected to sign an agreement on cooperation in the defense sector, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told Trend today.

Hasanov plans to meet with French Defense Minister Jean Vyes Le Drian, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Admiral Édouard Guillaud, as well as the heads of several companies producing defense products, the ministry reported.

Hasanov's visit to France will last until January 14.
