Burial of servicemen becomes special in Azerbaijan

Special rules are being developed in Azerbaijan for burial of the servicemen died during military service, military sources told.

The rules will cover organization of funerals of servicemen died while fulfilling battle tasks.

Up to now, with the exception of some cases, the funerals of servicemen died while fulfilling battle tasks have been organized in an ordinary manner.

After the rules are confirmed, special units will be set up at garrisons for attending the funerals. The units will include soldiers and female soldiers. These units will organize special rituals during funerals. All the funeral expenses will be paid by the state.

Similar practice of Turkish Armed Forces has been used while working out the rules.
