Azerbaijan, Ukraine intend military partnership

Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Azerbaijan Alexander Mishenko on Dec.13.

The ambassador congratulated the minister on his appointment to the post and wished him success in his upcoming activity, the official website of the Defense Ministry said.

The military and political situation in the region, bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan and Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was discussed during the meeting.

Ukraine's military attaché in Azerbaijan, Colonel Vladimir Mitin also participated at the meeting.
