President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva have today inspected newly remodeled secondary schools No234, No125 and No121 in Khazar district, Baku.
The schools were overhauled under a state program for speeding up socio-economic development of Baku and its suburbs.
The Head of State and Mehriban Aliyeva first visited school No234. Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov informed the President that the building of the school was constructed in 1980. There are now 850 pupils in the 1176-seat school.
President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse then visited school No125. The Head of State was informed of reconstruction work here. The school was built in 1939. The 760-seat facility serves 560 pupils now.
The Azerbaijan leader and the first lady also visited school No121.
The President was told about the reconstruction work at the school. The facility was constructed in 1934. There are now 870 pupils in the 1040-seat school./AzerTAg/
