President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Archivan-Shuvi-Alasha-Gapichimahalla road in Astara District.

The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the road.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed that according to a relevant Order dated 15 July 2013, a total of 3.3 million manats were allocated for the construction of the Archivan-Shuvi-Alasha-Gapichimahalla and Siyaku-Rineroads. The construction of the Archivan-Shuvi-Alasha-Gapichimahalla road worth 2,680 million manats was launched in April of this year and was completed a few days ago.

The road is 13.5 km long, while the width of the asphalted carriageway is 6 meters wide. The road has one bridge and 20 drainage systems.

The Archivan-Shuvi-Alasha-Gapichimahalla roadl inks 17 settlements with a population of 24,000 people.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed that construction work started here in February and ended in August of this year.

The Head of the State was told that the training hall of the center meets standards of the International Boxing Federation.

President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander- in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev attended the official opening of the newly constructed residential campus for the staff of the commandant of the border and frontier post, as well as the reconstructed complex of service buildings of Astara State Border Checkpoint.

Chief of State Border Service Elchin Guliyev informed the Head of the State that the newly constructed campus occupies a total area of 5 hectares.

An eight-storey building has 77 apartments.

The President praised conditions created here.

The campus also has a 50-seat kindergarten and a recreation park.

The Head of State handed over the apartment licenses to the servicemen.

President Ilham Aliyev then inspected newly reconstructed and remodeled service buildings of Astara State Border Checkpoint.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev officially opened Astara District Central Hospital.

The Head of the State inspected the conditions created at the hospital.

President Ilham Aliyev then met local residents of the district.

Doctor Ayten Shiriyeva expressed gratitude to the Head of the State on behalf of Astara residents for his attention to development of Astara.

Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev informed the President on reconstruction of the hospital, which started in May, 2012 and ended this August.

About 2 million manats were allocated from the President’s Reserve Fund for the reconstruction of the hospital.

The Head of the State was told that the facility was provided with modern equipment.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today cut the ribbon to officially open Masalli Regional Boxing Center.

The Head of State was told that the foundation stone for the facility was laid in 2012.

The President viewed boxing hall here.

The center is designed to host trainings and other events.

President Ilham Aliyev then attended the opening of the Regional Taekwondo Center.

The ceremony to break ground for the facility took place in 2012. It occupies a total area of 5,613 square meters.

The President viewed taekwondo hall here. There is a 120-man gym in the center.

The Head of State then toured the area of the center.

The Azerbaijani President was informed that construction of the facility started in July, 2012.

The two-storey building of Masalli District Branch occupies a total area of 2,650 square meters.

The facility is provided with modern equipment.

A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed in the foyer of the building.

There are photo stands reflecting activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev.

The facility has a 100-seat meeting hall, administrative rooms, and a conference hall.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated Masalli Culture Center after major overhaul.

The Head of State was told that the building was built in 1956. The three-storey center occupies a total area of 7,300 square meters. Reconstruction work here began in 2011. There is a 358-seat auditorium in the center.

The President toured the center. He listened to performance of children`s choir.

The Head of State then met local residents.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today cut the ribbon to officially inaugurate the Heydar Aliyev Center in Masalli District.

There is an internet café, a 3D cinema, drawing and photo studios, and an applied arts room, which exhibits the country`s ancient folk musical instruments and carpets, in the center.

There is also an electronic library highlighting activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, as well as Azerbaijan`s history, literature and culture.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the 20-kilometer section of the reconstructed Yardimli-Deman-Arvana motor road.

The President cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the 46 km long road with 26 water passages.

The reconstruction work started here in April current year. The road connects over 23 residential areas. Reconstruction of the road is aims at improving economic and tourism potential of the region.

The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the building.

The administrative building has seven rooms and a 50-seat conference hall. The facility is equipped with advanced ICT technologies.

On 4 September, President Ilham Aliyev attended a ceremony of opening a new line of drinking water in Yardimli, which was organized in the Youth Park.

The Head of State was informed about the work done in the park. The park has recreation areas, wide bands of gardening, a modern fountain, and large greenery.

The Head of State described the commissioning of new water supply line as a significant event, and congratulated the local residents on this occasion.

The Center includes Heydar Aliyev Museum, a conference hall, numerous studios, printing and computer facilities, and an exhibition hall. The Center has a foreign language studio, a 3D movie theatre, a 40-seat auditorium, an intellectual game room and an E-library. The Center will arrange numerous courses for youth to develop their technological knowledge and ability.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in the country’s Jalilabad District.

The Head of State started his visit by placing flowers at a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the city center.

Head of the Jalilabad District Executive Authorities Aziz Azizov briefed the President on the reconstruction works in the Heydar Aliyev Park.

The Head of State was told that reconstruction work began here this May.

The park occupies a total area of three hectares.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has inaugurated the new administrative building of the Bilasuvar District Executive Authorities.

The Head of State was told that the old building was built in the 50s of the past century and had been used as the headquarters of the Executive Authorities since 1992.

The construction of the new building was launched in July 2012 and ended in July current year. In the entrance there is a bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev and a photo-stand depicting the visits of the national leader and President Ilham Aliyev to the Bilasuvar District.

President Ilham Aliyev was told that the three-storey facility built in the Heydar Aliyev Avenue was provided with the necessary equipment.

Eight service rooms and a 40-seat canteen are located in the first floor of the building, while a conference hall and 10 service rooms are housed on the second floor. A large assembly hall and 13 service rooms are located on the third floor. Numerous landscape gardening and greenery, decorative elements and modern lightening system were installed in the area.

The President inspected the center of operative control for direct video communication with representatives of city and rural territorial divisions.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has cut a ribbon to officially inaugurate the new administrative building of Bilasuvar District Branch of New Azerbaijan Party.

There are 15 offices in the two-storey building. There is a bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the foyer of the building, as well as photo stands highlighting the national leader`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s YAP-related activities.

Bilasuvar District Branch of New Azerbaijan Party was set up in 1993. It currently has 4,440 members, of whom 27 percent are women, and 25 per cent are youth.

The President spoke to local residents prior to the ceremony.

Chairman of Azersu company Gorkhmaz Huseynov informed the Head of State of “Reconstruction of water supply and sanitation system in Bilasuvar District” project. He said the project was aimed at improving water supply and sanitation system for a total of 26,000 people until 2035. “Under the project, water is pumped to Bilasuvar from a new source – Shirvan-Mughan group pipeline. We built a 57km-long main water pipeline, and two 10,000cm water reservoirs to ensure continuous water supply to the city.”

The Head of State was told that construction of the building began in 2011. The three-storey facility occupies a total area of 1,800 square meters.

There is a bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev, and also photos highlighting visits by the national leader and President Ilham Aliyev to Salyan in the foyer of the building.

There are offices, a guest room, a conference hall, and central control room in the building.

The Head of State was told that construction of the center began in December, 2011. The three-storey building occupies a total area of 626 square meters.

President Ilham Aliyev toured the center, which houses exhibition halls, administrative rooms, an electronic library, computer and information rooms, and a photo studio. The center will offer dancing, drawing, foreign language and chess courses.

The Head of State praised conditions created in the center.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has visited Flag Square in Salyan.

The Head of State was told that construction of the square started this June and finished in August. The square, which occupies a total area of 2.1 hectares, lies on National Hero Nazim Babayev Street. The flag here flies on a 42m-high pole. The flag is 10m in width, and 20m in length.

There is a park in the square. The President toured the park.

The Head of State started his visit by placing flowers at a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the city centre.

Head of Salyan District Executive Authorities Tahir Karimov informed the President that the reconstruction work in the Heydar Aliyev Park began in 2011.

The park that covers a total area of 22,000 square meters. The monument to the national leader was made by People's Artist Natig Aliyev.
