
Mexico is interested in boosting its relationship with Azerbaijan, chairman of the Mexican Senate`s Energy Commission David Penchyna Grub has said.
“There are wide opportunities for overall development of relations between the two countries which have many similarities.”
Penchyna Grub said: “Azerbaijan has been rapidly developing since restoring its independence. The country has already taken its worthy place in the world, and is playing a significant role in ensuring the European energy security.”
He added that Mexico was determined to carry out energy reforms, stressing the necessity of learning Azerbaijan`s experience.
“We believe the reciprocal visits and bilateral negotiations will be of help on this issue.”
