Azerbaijani President elected Chairman of CEIBC

President Ilham Aliyev has been elected chairman of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC).

As is reported, this was announced by the former chairman of the Club, Telman Aliyev, at a business meeting.

Having said that deputy chairman of the Club is not yet known, Aliyev noted that while choosing a chairman to the club, he should be prestigious person in the international arena, region and mainly in Azerbaijan and support the solution of problems of companies and businessmen.

T. Aliyev expressed his gratitude on behalf of the head of state for CEIBC that he accepted their offer, and as of today, President Ilham Aliyev is the chairman of CEIBC.

“For this reason, we made a proposal to the Azerbaijani President and we thank him for accepting it. From now on, he is the Chairman of our club.”

T. Aliyev also noted that the changes were performed in April in order to bring the activities of CEIBC in line with international standards of corporate governance.
