Mexican magazine spotlights Azerbaijan`s statehood

Mexican authoritative magazine “Mundo Internacional” published an article on Azerbaijan`s statehood history and events marking the country`s 20th anniversary of the restoration of independence in its December issue.

According to Azerbaijan Embassy in Mexico, the article features a concert program organized by the Diplomatic Mission of Azerbaijan dedicated to the 20th jubilee of the state independence in the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts), authoritative and historical place in Mexico, Azerbaijani art figures` participation in the international cultural festival “La Nao” held in Acapulco and groundbreaking ceremony of monument to genius poet Nizami Ganjavi.

The article emphasized ambassador Ilgar Mukhtarov`s speech on Azerbaijan and the Silk Way in the Political Research Institute in Acapulco. The magazine is distributed among Mexican Presidential Administration and other official bodies, congress members and diplomatic corps accredited to Mexico.
