Baku host event on “Muhammadhusein Shahriyar: literary influence and relations”

The International scientific conference dedicated to Muhammadhusein Shahriyar’s 105 anniversary on theme “Muhammadhusein Shahriyar: literary influence and relations” was held at Presidium of ANAS this week.  Along with the Azerbaijani scientists, researchers from Iran and Iraq took part at the conference organized by the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Z.bunyadov of ANAS.

Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, doctor of philological sciences, Professor Govhar Bakhshaliyeva’s opened the conference and stated that, Muhammadhusein Shahriyar was one of the huge figures of the East, powerful master of the word.

Senior scientific worker of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami of ANAS, doctor in philology Nushaba Arasli made a speech on theme “Shahriyar and classic poem of the East”. “Love for the motherland, sensitive attitude towards the ancient and glorious history of eastern people, human dignity was the center line of Shahriyar’s poetry” stated Nushaba Arasli.

PhD on Philology Masiaga Mahammadli made a speech on theme “Shahriyar and literary environment of the twentieth century in Iran” investigative-author Behruz Imani (Iran) on “Heydərbaba” school and its place in world literature” PhD on philology Esmira Fuad on “Shahriyar and Turkey”, doctor of philological sciences Elman Guliyev on “Influence of historical processes to the literary language: Shahriyar and Azerbaijani Language”, PhD on Philology Nushaba Alizadeh “Shahriyar poetry in translations”, PhD on Philology Parvana Mammadli “Shahriyar and” Varlig “Journal” at the meeting.
