Baku starts 2nd week of Eurovision-2012 national selection tour today

The second week as a part of the national selection round of the "Eurovision-2012" song contest will start at the Azerbaijani Public Television today.

Rufat Aliyev, Mehriban Sadigova, Farid Hasanov, Ilham Hamidov, Huseyn Abdullayev, Maryam Karimova, Sehri Rahimova, “Live or Leave” group and Elvin Babazade will demonstrate performance skills, voice and show during this week.

The qualifiers have been divided in 8 groups. Each group has 9 participants who will perform their voice and scenic skills within 8 weeks.   Winners of eight weeks chosen by SMS and jury voting will qualify for next round of the selection as semifinalists. Three of them will qualify for the final round and compete to be Azerbaijani representative of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012.
