An evening of traditional Azerbaijani music to be hosted in Samara

On September 5th, in Samara (Russia), an evening of traditional Azerbaijani music will be hosted, according to the director of the House of Peoples' Friendship, Dmitry Muhlbach.

Referring to the "Volga Commune", Azerbaijanis who came to Samara, will perform mugham - traditional vocal works of national genre. Performers from the "Khayal" ensemble, who live in Samara, will also perform at the event.

The event itself is timed to the 110 anniversary of the legendary Azeri singer Khan Shushinsky (Khan of Shusha).
