2nd International Music Festival wrapped up in Gabala

Conducted by American and Russian pianists Dmitry Yablonsky and Boris Berezovsky, United Kingdom`s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performed the Sergey Rakhmaninov`s compositions.
During the festival, musicians from USA, Cuba, Russia, England, France and Italy, world-known Yury Bashmet and Boris Berezovsky performed their compositions.

Participation of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, chief of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva and Director General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Irina Bokova in the opening ceremony demonstrated how this festival popularizes Azerbaijani music to the world community.

Azeri MP Fattah Heydarov, rector of Baku Music Academy Farhad Badalbayli thanked head of state Ilham Aliyev, chief of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and musicians for conducting this festival. The festival came to an end with a spectacular fireworks display.
