Azerbaijani and Cuban jazz musicians have given a joint concert as part of the Gabala International Music Festival.
The concert featured performance of the 12-man Cuban Maraco band and a 5-man band of the Baku Jazz Center.

Organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the two-week Gabala festival will be a brilliant opportunity for music-lovers to hear talented musicians from the USA, Russia, UK, France and Italy, as well as world-renowned coryphaeus Yury Bashmet and Boris Berezovsky, and United Kingdom`s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Seven-time Grammy Award winner, jazzman Al Jarreau was also among those invited to perform at the festival, but the musician was forced to cancel his concert after being hospitalized in France with breathing problems.
