Tara Mcdonald reveals her feelings for Baku, Alim Gasimov and the upcoming concert

Being one of the most recognizable vocal performers in the world, Mcdonald is looking forward to the concert in Baku. She is no stranger to Azerbaijan - sometime ago, she recorded a music clip "I am your Goddess" with DJ David Vendetta, and worldwide known Azerbaijani mugam singer Alim Gasimov.

In the interview with Trend Life, Mcdonald revealed her thoughts on Alim Gasimov, and his music.

"I worked on that music clip with great pleasure. As for Alim Gasimov, I simply fell in love with his voice. When David Vendetta asked me to accompany him and Alim in this clip, I of course, agreed. I also added a few Arabic notes to the music. I think, it turned out okay. I think thats why Vendetta decided to partner with Alim. As for me, I recorded my vocal part in Paris, at Vendetta's studio. I hope I get a chance to meet with Alim and listen to his music in real," she said.

The singer also spoke out about Azerbaijani culture, and her upcoming concert in Azerbaijani capital.

"This would be my first visit to Azerbaijan. To be honest, I am quite nervous. I dont know much about your culture, but I really want to come. I would really like to feel the atmosphere. Really looking forward to 25th of June, when I'll have my chance to share my songs with the people", stated Mcdonald.
