Brazilian play to be performed on Azerbaijani stage

The performance "Aesop" (The Fox and the Grapes) on the work of Brazilian dramatist Guilherme Figueiredo will be staged in Azerbaijan State Youth Theatre. The director of the performance is composer Jahangir Zulfugarov.

Guilherme Figueiredo is Brazilian writer, playwright and theatre critic. Most of his plays are the works on ancient themes. According to the famous Brazilian writer Jorge Amado, the most important feature of the works of Figueiredo always remained "devotion to freedom". The effects of the “heroic comedy” “The Fox and the Grapes” comes in Ancient Greece.
