Lady Gaga has sensationally said she would ‘rather die’ than tone her flamboyant dress sense down.

The pop sensation, known for her wild costumes that range from stepping out dressed as a hamster wheel to covering her modesty with transparent plastic sheeting to even wearing a telephone on her head, keeps on shocking.

She is famed for her teacup and saucer – a prop she holds in interviews and even took up on stage with her when she accepted her many Brit Awards last month.

The huge star – whose garishness has been compared to that of Madonna – has set her sights high and it doesn’t seem like there’s anything that will bring her down.

She is fast becoming an iconic superstar – whether it is for what she wears, what she says and even her particular mannerisms.

Speaking in an interview with Jonathon Ross on his TV chat show, she didn’t hold back to tell the celebrity interview exactly what she thought of fellow stars.

Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, holds upmost importance on keeping her image up and running for her fans: ‘I’d never give up my wigs and hats for anything. You see legendary people taking out their trash. I think it’s destroying show business.’

She holds the belief that the world is a stage and stars have to live up to their image for fans.

The Poker Face singer – who is currently sporting a half yellow, half pink hair do – also admitted that despite her love of her image, she has ‘no friends, no lover and no home.’

She confessed: ‘Nobody would put up with my craziness.’
