Gene Simmons 'sued after attacking fan'

28 December 2009 [14:04] - TODAY.AZ
Gene Simmons is being sued after allegedly attacking a couple of fans, reports say.

According to Access Hollywood, Nathan Marlowe and his wife Cynthia Manzo are seeking unspecified damages from the Kiss star after he reportedly threatened them, attacked them and took their video camera.

The couple claim that they were filming Simmons at The Grove mall in Los Angeles when Marlowe asked him if he believed in monogamy.

The rocker reportedly told Marlowe to leave, before attacking him and taking the video camera. When Manzo tried to get the camcorder back, Simmons reportedly turned on her.

The couple's attorney said that a police report was filed, but Simmons has not been arrested or charged. Meanwhile, the pair's attempt to get a restraining order was unsuccessful.

They are reportedly seeking more than $25,000 (£15,000) for civil claims of assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress.
