Be afraid, be very afraid… Halloween has snuck up on us again. It's the season for ghosts and vampires to take to the streets, asking for candy and scaring one another silly.

Straddling the line between fall and winter, life and death, Halloween is observed in a number of countries on October 31. It is widely believed that many Halloween traditions originated from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off roaming ghosts.

Celts believed that on the night before the new year, the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred.

Today, Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing and divination games, playing pranks, visiting haunted attractions and much more.

There are plenty of frightfully fantastic Halloween club nights, parties and other nightlife happenings scheduled to mark Halloween in Baku.

Start planning your fancy dress outfit because the largest Halloween festival will be held in Switch Venezia club, Baku Boulevard on October 28-30.

The festival will last for 3 days and 3 nights and will be held in two sessions - 15:00 and 22:00. Special guests of the festival are famous musicians  Rauf Akhmedov , Okaber and Qurd.

You can buy tickets for 20 AZN ($ 12). The ticket price includes performances by Rauf - 40, Okaber , Qurd, free HELL ENERGY drinks, face art, disco, photoshoot, interesting prize competitions and most importantly  unlimited fun.
