Nigar Narimanbekova` s exhibition fascinates Parisians

Azerbaijan’s famous artist Nigar Narimanbekova displayed her works at the Parisian Carrousel du Louvre as part of the “Art Shopping” trade show, Trend Life reported.

Twice a year, the Art Shopping trade show is held in the Carrousel du Louvre and offers a selection of works to both see and purchase.  More than 600 artists, including Azerbaijani artists  Asmar Narimanbekova, Maryam Alakbarli and Azer Aliyev , presented their masterpieces at the festival.

The exposition was visited by prominent public figures, representatives of culture and art, diplomatic missions.

For the first time, "Salon business art" has been opened in the Louvre. Previously, it was organized at the Centre of Pierre Cardin.

"I have many years taking part in the legendary "Salon" . In 2015, I received the Grand Prix for achievements in contemporary art being the member Stella Art International Association . I'm so proud to represent Azerbaijan at such a famous venue", said Narimanbekova.

The artist presented her famous series of paintings "Love Toys" , which has already gained love and recognition among art lovers. Among them are such vivid and beautiful paintings as "Puppet", "Temptation", "Confessions of a mermaid", as well as "Adagio", which won the main prize of the Salon of independent artists - TOILE D'OR 2016.

"I am pleased to say that my works enjoyed a huge success. The audience viewed my paintings for a long time, highlighting fantastic colors of Absheron. I'm glad to successfully represent my native -Azerbaijan, in the largest European art projects,” the artist said.

Note that, series of paintings  "Love Toys" will be displayed in Versailles in January 2017. The painting " Puppet" will be displayed at  Art En Capital exhibition to be held  in February 2017.

Nigar Narimanbekova, who lives and works in Paris and Baku, was graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School after Azim Azimzade and All-Union State Institute of Cinematography after Gerasimov in Moscow. She has participated in a number of national and international art exhibitions in France, Germany, Austria, and Azerbaijan.

Narimanbekova is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the International Association of Art. Her paintings are displayed in the exhibition halls of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Museum of Art of Azerbaijan as well as in private collections.
