"Troubadour" by Verdi to be performed on Baku’s stage

The Azerbaijani State Opera and Ballet Theatre will host the treasure of world opera “Troubadour” by Giuseppe Verdi.

The play which is very popular among opera lovers will be performed on November 22.

A leading soloist of the Ukraine National Opera, laureate of international contests, Dmitry Grishin was invited join the play. Tours with his attendance have been successfully held in such countries as Hungary, Scotland, Spain, Holland and Germany.

National artist Afag Abbasova will sing Leonora vocal party while Azuchena’s party will be sang by debutant, senior of Baku Music Academy Nina Makarova. Farid Aliyev will perform the role of Manriko. The performance’s conductor is Eyyub Guliyev.
