"Elnur will be in top five", Eurovision Song Contest 2011 winner

As part of his promo tour ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, Azerbaijan’s talented singer Elnur attended the Eurovision’s pre-party in Moscow where he met with the former national winner of “Eurovision 2011” Eldar Gasimov.

Eldar praised Elnur’s ballad “Hour of the Wolf”, which he will perform on the Eurovision stage, according to the RuNews24.ru.

“The song that Elnur will sing deserves the highest appreciation,” said the former winner. “Of course, the success of the song depends on the audience mood, whether the song will touch the hearts of the audience However, Elnur is not a stranger in this contest, as in 2008 he together with Samir Javadzada represented the country in Belgrade and took the eighth place.”

Eldar did not forget to give a prediction, saying that he sees Azerbaijan in the top five.

During his visit to Moscow, Elnur attended the “Music Box” TV channel, he also took several press conferences and met with Eurovision contestants from more than 10 countries, including Russian representative Polina Gagarina, as well as previous years’ participants.

Austria’s capital, Vienna will host the final of the 60th Eurovision on May 23. The semifinals of the international contest will be held on May 19 and 21. Elnur will perform his ballad under the 11th number in the second semifinal.

The official slogan of 2015 Eurovision Song Contest will be "Building Bridges".

So far, Elnur has been working hard on his music career. Earlier in February this year the singer became the winner of one the most popular TV show “O Ses Turkiye” (The Voice Turkey), setting up a record in the tele-voting history of the show by collecting over a million votes.

In 2003, Elnur won the TV contest “Sing Your Song” which was held in Azerbaijan.
