Azerbaijani artist's works featured in Paris

Romantic Paris hosted an exhibition featuring the works of Azerbaijani, Turkish, Cyprian and Georgian artists.

The exhibition held in “Russian world” gallery was organized by “Femme art” association.

Asmer Narimanbekova, an honored artist of Azerbaijan represented the country in this art event.

Some 50 works were featured at the exhibition.

“Femme art” which joins artists from different countries was established in 2007. The association has 12 offices in Turkey and five in other countries.

Asmer Narimanbekova - who is an associate professor of Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts, and a member of the presidium of the Azerbaijan Union of Artists is also the daughter of famous painter, Togrul Narimanbekov and talented sculptor artist, Elmira Guseynova, who was the winner of a State Prize of the USSR and Azerbaijan, and the People's Artist of USSR.

Works by the talented artist have been exhibited in many countries. Many famous galleries in France, Russia, New York , Turkey and other countries have owned the works of this famous artist.

Earlier in 2013, France opened an exhibition titled “Baku, on the Silk Road" at Corrado Bortone art gallery in Paris. Her works in the cubism visual art style and her paintings’ originality attracted many visitors so far.

Exhibition participant, Daniel Loran said, "I closely acquainted myself with the work of another artist in France - land of many talents. Paintings in cubism art style may be understand as abstract, however, the artist expressed her thoughts. Moreover, the choice of colors in each theme by Asmar Narimanbekova is astonishing.
