N Korean musician performed at Silk Way Int'l Music Festival in Shaki

A concert of the Republic of Korea`s folklore band has been held as part of the 4th Silk Way International Music Festival in Shaki, Azerbaijan.

The concert was attended by chair of the Azerbaijan Composers Union and head of Shaki Executive Authorities, representatives of foreign embassies in Azerbaijan, and members of the general public.

Opening the event, the Republic of Korea`s ambassador to Azerbaijan Choi Suk-inn praised art and cultural legacy of Shaki.

He said he was honored to attend such a wonderful music festival in Shaki, adding every time he visited the city it impressed him with its beauty.

The ambassador said musicians from the Republic of Korea attended the festival each year.
Choi Suk-inn expressed confidence that the festival would provide a brilliant opportunity for the audience to familiarize themselves with folk music of the Republic of Korea, as well as contribute to developing the cultural relations between the two countries.
