The Art of Dreaming is a non-fictional book written by author/anthropologist Carlos Castaneda and published in 1993. The book describes the events that took place during an apprenticeship with a self-proclaimed Yaqui Indian Sorcerer, don Juan Matus, between 1960 and 1973. The authenticity of The Art of Dreaming, as with the rest of his books, has been a topic of debate since they were originally published.
