Loreen: 'I want to express my gratitude to all who believed in me' - UPDATE - PHOTOS

The recipe of winning is to be yourself and be true to yourself, Eurovision-2012 Song Contest winner Sweden's Loreen said at the press conference after the final voting of the contest.

"I want to express my gratitude to all who believed in me," she said. "I am also a very shy person, such attention is not usual for me".

She also added that her team was first to congratulate her. The singer admitted that she was full of emotions while being in the Green room.

"i try to work hard to get results, so i didn't think I would win," she confessed. "I never take anything for granted".

Lorine Zineb Noka Talhaoui, better known by her stage name Loreen, is a Swedish pop singer and music producer. She represents Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with her entry "Euphoria".

Speaking about the hosting country, Loreen said she loved the people of Azerbaijan, and the food in the country is great as well. She also answered a questions about her lucky number, which is 17.

"People here are friendly," she noted. "I hope my song will stay in people's hearts for a long time".

Sweden won the contest tonight in Baku, gathering 372 points for the song "Euphoria".

Russia's Buranovskie Babushki with song "Party for Everybody" took the second place with 259 points. Serbia's Zeljko Joksimovic with song "Nije Ljubav Stvar" settled for third place with 214 points.

Azerbaijan carried out the 57th contest in Baku Crystal Hall, after in 2011 the country won the right to host the contest at Eurovision 2011 in Dusseldorf, Germany last May. First Semifinal of the contest was hosted on May 22, second on May 24.

Sweden has been crowned the winner of this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Baku. Loreen was voted Europe's favorite, after scoring 372 points with her song Euphoria.

Russia`s Buranovskiye Babushki ranked second, followed by Serbia`s Zeljko Joksimovic.
Azerbaijan`s Sabina Babayeva came 4th.
 
Euphoria was the title and theme of the Swedish entry and with her outstanding performance and choreography, she was surely capable of creating euphoric feelings with the viewers.
