'Buta' film wins Grand Prix Award

The Azerbaijan film "Buta" took part in “Cape Winelands Film Festival in Cape Town, the Republic of South Africa. Ilgar Najaf from Azerbaijan won the Grand Prix Award for Buta.

The programme included award winning features, documentaries and shorts from more than 48 countries. The film is shot by request of the Culture and Tourism Ministry and is co production of a film studio of "Azerbaijan film" and a movie company "Buta Film".

Staring are: national actor Rafig Azimov, Tofig Aliyev, Laman Nabiyeva, Elnur Karimov and others. The operator of a picture - Georgi Beridze, the artist - Aziz Mammadov, the sound producer - Tariyel Hasanzade, the general producer - Khamis Muradov, the composer - national actor Javanshir Guliyev.
