‘We hope that Azeri directors will start producing 3D films”

Chief of the Culture and Tourism Ministry’s Cinematography Department Jahangir Mammadov said  the Nizami Cinema House in Baku was given the status of Cinema Center. The center will be opened on Dec.27, 2011 with screening Three Musketeers, reinterpretation of Dumas’ novel in 3D action-adventure film directed by Paul Anderson, known for his Resident Evil series, and starring Logan Lerman, Milla Jovovich, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Mads Mikkelsen, James Corden, Juno Temple, Orlando Bloom, Christoph Waltz. 

The Cinema Center will show mostly 3D films. “We hope that Azerbaijani directors will start producing 3D films soon”, said Mammadov.
